Carrefour : A catalyst for innovation and collaboration
In 2024, Carrefour Cybereco consolidated its place as a key platform for supporting innovation in cybersecurity. The space was completely refurbished to offer an optimized experience for startups and young technology companies. Over 160 hours of personalized support were provided to guide entrepreneurs in their development. A total of 35 startups were supported this year through the Carrefour’s activities, reinforcing the ecosystem’s capacity to innovate, commercialize and create sustainable value.
Cyberconference: a strategic meeting place for the ecosystem
The 4th edition of the Cybereco Cyberconference, held in 2024, brought together over 700 participants from 150 organizations to discuss today’s major cybersecurity issues. The event offered a rich program, including conferences on generative AI, insider threats, cybersecurity for SMEs and post-quantum technologies. The presence of renowned speakers helped to raise the profile of the event. Complementing the panels and workshops, the Cyberconference fostered strategic exchanges between experts, decision-makers and researchers, confirming its role as a crossroads of reflection and influence in the Canadian ecosystem.

Today, Cybereco brings together a strategic network of nearly 100 organizations from key sectors of the Canadian economy, including natural resources, energy, manufacturing, finance, education and technology. By uniting major contractors, public institutions, innovative startups and academic players, we have built a genuine co-development space that propels cybersecurity as a lever for collective performance and resilience.
