Given that cybersecurity is a fundamental concern for the development of a prosperous and secure economy, wouldn’t it benefit our economy for our large organizations to work together to develop cybersecurity solutions?

Now there is.
Welcome to CyberEco.

Direction
Béatrice Couture Co-Chair

Béatrice is a lawyer whose career path has been somewhat atypical. After practicing corporate law at a national law firm, Béatrice took on a management role when she joined BIXI. She piloted the implementation of the self-serve bike sharing system in Canada, notably in Toronto and Ottawa. Béatrice then joined the management team at Playster, a young company specialized in the distribution of online digital content.

Driven by her desire to contribute to both Montreal’s economic boom and the influence of its entrepreneurs’ expertise, she founded and managed—over the last three years—InnoCité MTL, the first Canadian smart city startup accelerator.

Together, we’re making Quebec and Canada a global hub of cybersecurity research and expertise.

CyberEco aims to limit the risks associated with cyber threats by educating businesses and individuals about fraudulent practices.

70% of Canadian businesses have been victims of cyberattacks — and the numbers are skyrocketing.

Now, there’s a Montréal-based organization dedicated exclusively to doing something about it.
