Discover the Cybereco Practical Guide to the application of the Act 25

Sanctioned in September 2021, the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information makes significant changes to privacy laws to give citizens more control over their personal data. It will come into force in three phases between 2022 and 2024.

This major modernization of the legislative framework for the protection of personal information may cause concern for businesses.

That is why Cybereco offers this guide providing a practical view of the act by proposing a concrete action plan to help businesses understand and implement this law.

Prepared by members of Cybereco, including Fasken, Université de Sherbrooke, Mondata, Deloitte, Qohash, Desjardins Group, this document is intended to guide you in bringing your internal processes into compliance with the new obligations. To make it easier to understand the law, the guide has been designed in chronological order to enable you to understand these new obligations while respecting the deadlines imposed by the law.
