On May 4 and 5, Cybereco invited you to the 2nd edition of the Cyberconference.
Organized in a hybrid format at the Palais des congrès de Montréal and on the Swapcard platform, the Cyberconference 2022 was a great success with nearly 400 participants in person and close to 800 participants on the Swapcard platform.
With 82 speakers, 51 conferences and 31 sponsors, the success of this 2nd edition confirms that cybersecurity is at the heart of everyone’s concerns: government agencies, universities, corporations and start-ups.
This edition was an opportunity to highlight the place of Quebec and Canada in the cybersecurity ecosystem, with presentations of Guy Cormier (Desjardins), André Boucher (BNC), Steve Waterhouse (Ministère de la cybersécurité et du numérique) and Sami Khoury (Canadian Centre for Cyber Security). It was also an opportunity to create international links and to turn our attention to innovation, thanks to the intervention of Luc Sirois (Quebec Innovation Council). Above all, it was the perfect place to talk about current cybersecurity issues such as offensive security, ransomware, privacy, the role of women in cyber, etc.
